Redditor That_Azzin has recently discovered the what they believe to be an advertisement in support of the new development. The image they shared depicts a wall in Brooklyn that is partly covered in the form of "Whispers from the Old Gods." The mural is in to the WoW cataclysm Gold style, and there's an elves and what appears to be a tentacle in to the end of the wall.

YouTuber Disguised Toast has offered hints in the video he uploaded which could point to this new expansion (via PC Gamer). Toast reveals that Blizzard has altered the five cards available on WoW Cataclysm Classic 's official website to one which is linked with "the The Old Gods"--Void Terror and The Faceless Manipulator, Cult Master, Mind Blast, and Dark Wispers. As the company was preparing for the previous expansion, Blackrock Mountain, it removed the homepage cards and replaced them with characters that were linked to the region of that name. Toast also raises an article on Powned.it in February that claimed that the expansion could be linked with The Old Gods and would possibly be named "Whispers from the Old Gods."

Toast's not the only Internet researcher who has discovered an enigmatic piece of details. It appears that the WoW Cataclysm Classic subreddit has discovered leaks that took place in the year 2015, and could reveal certain cards from the coming expansion. Redditor PlayTank notes that some of the cards that were revealed in the leak last year ended up within the League of Explorers expansion, and that additional cards, such as Dark Summoner, Sinister Cultist as well as the Bloodaxe Ritualist "could very likely be connected to the Old Gods expansion."

WoW Cataclysm Classic -focused site Blizzheart released an invitation that to receive an invitation from Blizzard The invitation reads "There are whispers in inside the Tavern... Join us to take a close look and find out new details about the next WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold for sale expansion at the event that will be live streamed." The invitation's date puts it at 10 AM PST on the 11th of March. This is exactly the same date that the Americas Winter Championship starts.
